Your resume and job details are sent securely to OpenAI only to create the result you request. JobMirror Resume requests that the response not be stored and does not save your original resume or result in its own database.
1. What this policy covers
This policy explains how JobMirror Resume handles information when you use this website, including optional one-time review purchases. For privacy questions, contact xtallgriff@gmail.com.
2. Information handled
Information you enter
You paste a job description and your resume, or upload a PDF or Word file. You can search for public jobs using OpenAI's web search. Your job details and resume are sent through JobMirror Resume's server to OpenAI to produce your report, tailored resume, and cover-letter draft. Edits are made in your browser. When you request a PDF or Word download, the edited text is sent to our server to create the file. Opening an original job posting takes you to that employer or job board, which has its own privacy policy. JobMirror Resume does not submit applications for you and does not use resume content for advertising or automated employment decisions.
Technical information
The hosting provider may process standard request information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps, and security signals. The introductory review and paid credits work without sign-in. JobMirror Resume sets secure first-party browser cookies containing random identifiers and stores a pseudonymous usage count and credit balance. The introductory allowance does not reset daily. Clearing cookies or using another browser may make unused credits inaccessible. Limited request information is also converted into a pseudonymous identifier for AI safety processing. Existing account-linked balances and browser-to-account links are retained for compatibility with prior purchases. Owner test mode uses an existing authenticated owner session and a separate daily test counter. JobMirror Resume has not added advertising cookies or product analytics.
Payment information
Stripe collects and processes payment details. JobMirror Resume receives the checkout session identifier, payment status, customer contact details supplied through checkout, and the scan-pack information needed to add credits. JobMirror Resume does not receive or store full card numbers.
3. How information is used
Information is used to display the site, perform the scan you request, maintain security, prevent abuse, and diagnose service failures. JobMirror Resume does not train its own model on your resume, build advertising profiles from it, or make employment decisions.
4. Sharing and selling
JobMirror Resume does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Routine technical information may be processed by hosting providers. Resume scans are processed by OpenAI as a service provider. Stripe processes payment information as a payment provider. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models unless the customer explicitly opts in.
5. Resume and selected-job retention
When you leave for checkout, a temporary copy of your job details and resume text or uploaded file is kept in this browser, not our database. It can be restored on your return within 30 minutes and is removed after restoration or when you choose Clear resume and results. An older copy is discarded the next time it is checked. This backup is not available on another device.
JobMirror Resume does not currently save original resume files, job details, or scan reports to its own database. It retains the pseudonymous introductory-review counter, separate owner-test counter, browser-linked or legacy account-linked credit balance, and payment-session records needed to prevent duplicate credits and document fulfillment. Requests are sent with OpenAI response storage disabled. OpenAI may nevertheless retain API content in abuse-monitoring logs under its standard API data controls, unless a different eligible data-retention arrangement applies. Do not submit information you do not want processed for the scan.
6. Security
JobMirror Resume is designed to minimize collection and restrict access to information. No online service can promise perfect security. Do not include Social Security numbers, financial account details, medical information, passwords, or other unnecessary sensitive data in a resume.
7. Your choices and rights
The Clear resume and results button removes the resume, selected job details, generated drafts, and prepared PDF links from the current page. It does not delete files already downloaded or information retained by service providers. Refreshing or closing the page also discards its in-memory drafts.
No account or sign-in is required for reviews or purchases. Your remaining reviews appear on the main page. Keep using the browser where you purchased them and retain its cookies. Clearing cookies or switching devices can make remaining credits inaccessible. Keep your Stripe receipt as proof of purchase. Existing account-linked balances remain associated with their original account. 8. Children
JobMirror Resume is intended for job seekers and is not directed to children under 13. The service should not be used to submit a child's personal information.
9. Changes
This policy will change when accounts, payments, email, analytics, monitoring, or saved history are enabled. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date before the affected feature is used.
